Watersports
Located near numerous beaches, Abbieville B&B is the ideal base for those of you who are willing to participate in watersports along the Atlantic coast. Surfing is a major attraction to the area. Kitesurfing is also becoming increasingly popular, as well as Kayaking and Canoeing. Bring your own gear and we can advise you which areas are ideal for these activities. We can organise packed lunches and hot soups for the day and send you on your way. Or if you prefer, there are numerous surfing schools located in Bundoran and Strandhill who organise classes from beginners to advanced. Prices vary, depending on the watersport activity that you are interested in and booking can be organised through Abbieville . (may require a deposit)

Horse Riding
Located only 5 minutes from Abbieville B&B is Island View Riding Stables. There are horses to suit every type of rider big or small, experienced or novice, child or adult. Riding lessons or trekking can be organised. To really see the countryside, trekking is a delightful option. The duration of treks vary from 1 hour treks to Day Rides and can encompass routes along country lanes, across sandy beaches, over bog lands and more. Prices vary, depending on the trek route selected and booking can be organised through Abbieville . (may require a deposit)

Golf
County Sligo Golf Club, Rosses Point County Sligo Golf Club is one of Ireland's great Championship Links located on the Rosses Point peninsula, approx 20 minute drive from Abbieville . Described by Peter Alliss as "a tremendous test for the highest quality player and great fun for the modest competitor", the club has hosted most of Ireland's major championships in its long and venerable history. Three large beaches beneath the cliffs keep the Atlantic at bay to the west of the course, while towering Benbulben competes with the ocean for scenic splendour on the land side. Pitch 'n' Putt
Bertie’s Pitch ‘n’ Putt is located approx 15 minutes drive from Abbieville  and is an enjoyable family activity. The course consists of 18 holes, the longest being 70 metres and the shortest, 43 metres. This activity caters for all age groups, from juveniles to senior citizens and all equipment is provided including clubs, balls and tees. A10 bay Driving Range is also available on site for the golfer who wants to perfect his or her Golfing skills. Golf lessons are provided from their resident golf pro, Anthony Gray.
